You reach the Playa Castilnovo by passing the city beach Playa de los Bateles in direction south (left).

This beach begins behind the bridge at the end of Conil town. It is about 2km long and never gets crowded.

This is one of the reasons why kitesurfers and windsurfers like to come here to practice their sports.

The name of this lonely beach results from the Torre Castilnovo (Torre=tower), built by the knight Guzman El Bueno in the 13th century during the Moorish invasion.
