With over 3000 hours of sunshine per year Oceano Surf School is perfectly located for people who wish to thoroughly enjoy their experience of learning to surf.



Our instructors all speak English, German and Spanish at conversational level, are all qualified coaches by FES and BSA standards and all hold life guarding credentials. Furthermore they are all well traveled and keen surfers who know the coastline intimately.

It is our policy that whilst learning to surf you have a great time, which in our experience helps you to learn to surf so much faster! From 'slipper' to 'ripper' we will have you surfing well in no time!

Surfboard and Wetsuit Rentals

Located right in front of the Hostal Fco Alferez on the El Palmar beachfront you can find our mobile surfshop. We stock a range of Alder Wetsuits, hardwear, wax and much more. Our prices are the best in the area. We also rent a variety of hard and softboards with wetsuits.
When you see the Oceano Surf School trailer and van in El Palmar come over and check us out. We can give you all the advice about tides, swell etc and have a good variety of surfing equipment in stock!
